Land Use Leadership Alliance (LULA) Follow Up Meeting and Tarrytown Site Visit
On October 9, we reconvened the cohort of communities that had participated in the Land Use Leadership Alliance (LULA) training this past May, offered through the Hudson Valley Flood Resilience Network. The day also included a presentation and walking tour of Tarrytown’s waterfront resilience challenges and opportunities.
Ulster County Site Visit
On March 27, the Hudson Valley Flood Resilience Network held a meeting and site visit in Kingston for municipalities and regional partners to connect and learn together.
Long Dock Park, Beacon Site Visit
On June 18, the Hudson Valley Flood Resilience Network met at Long Dock Park in Beacon. Scenic Hudson provided a tour of the park's flood resilience measures, sharing design features to mitigate flooding both from heavy rains and from the Hudson River.
Westchester County Site Visit
On November 16, the Hudson Valley Flood Resilience Network and Westchester County Dept of Planning & Soil and Water Conservation District hosted municipalities and regional partners at the Center for the Urban River at Beczak in Yonkers to connect and learn together.
City of Albany Site Visit
On November 14, the Hudson Valley Flood Resilience Network convened local governments and regional partners in Albany.
Strategic Roadmap Community Engagement
On October 26, a facilitated meeting at the Hudson River Maritime Museum Barn in Kingston provided the opportunity to gather feedback on the Flood Resilience Network’s five-year Strategic Roadmap.
City of Hudson Site Visit
On August 17, 2022 FRN members old and new gathered in the Gallery building of Basilica Hudson in Hudson, NY for the first in-person meeting and site visit since 2020.
