Connecting local governments committed to taking actionable steps to manage current and future flood risks

Floods are increasing in frequency and intensity across the Hudson Valley.

Extreme rain and massive storms are impacting communities throughout the Hudson River watershed, while rising seas are contributing to high tide flooding and storm surge along the Hudson River waterfront.

Local governments bear the primary responsibility for local flood resilience planning…

…but many have limited capacity, funding, and support to advance this critical work. The FRN helps municipal governments access resources and navigate complex processes, while providing a platform for peer learning and support.

The FRN provides regular programs, including tours of flood resilience projects, regular in-person meetings for peer learning, and webinars to share information. FRN programs focus on the priority issues and concerns of FRN Members.

Join the FRN to support regional collaboration on flood resilience strategies.
